Love this list! Burlesque was a great movie.

Perfect disclaimer at the bottom. Part of the reason that I didn’t post a list on my blog (yet…) was because I was afraid that people would feel I was being greedy or something. But I feel like this: You know people are going to buy you things, why *not* make a list? Plus, it gives some great ideas for gifts!

I loved the Avengers! SUCH a great movie! I’m definitely with you on not liking horror/gore and I’d add “scary” to the list too! I can handle minimal suspense if I have to, haha! But yeah, in general I like light and fluffy movies. Also, the Lorax was really cute!

SNAP about receiving gifts! I actually don’t really have a list of things I want because i tend to buy things for myself whenever I need them. Although for fun, I wouldn’t mind receiving a frother so I can make a few DIY cappuccinos at home. I was out browsing today and saw a cute gift set with mini bottles of balsamic vinegar in various flavors (e.g. raspberry, apple, honey)- I use balsamic on a daily basis so that set would definitely be appreciated !

I’m the same way with decoration stuff! It’s fun and relaxing, but it requires lots of money unless you have some REALLY good yard sales around, but that’s not usually the case right? So gift cards for that are great in my opinion as well.

And in all seriousness, I say AMEN to your last statement! Christ is the greatest gift ever to be offered to the world, but it’s up to us to take it…And even though I used to get a little sad as a child because my family never celebrated anything including Christmas, now I’m thankful for it because I never had the chance to be fixated on gifts! So it’s a win-win situation, kind of. hehe.

I used to be all about presents when I was younger, but the older I get, the less interested I am in getting them. My mom never liked to get things for Christmas, and I could never understand that, but now I think I know what she was on about. I love giving, but getting? Ehhh… I could take it or leave it. That being said, I really do actually need a nice pair of brown riding-style boots, so that tops my list this year.
