I decided to take a cue from my friend Amanda today and just give you a bunch of random facts today. I couldn’t seem to narrow down what I really wanted to post about, so I figured, why not just throw it all at you?!
1. After I finished speed reading through Safe Haven, I looked up the trailer to see how close the movie looked to the book (I can tell it’s already going to be much different), and instantly fell in love with the song used in the trailer. It’s a cover of an old Fleetwood Mac song, but this version is so eerie and epic in my opinion! I bought it ASAP on Itunes.
2. My puppy Jax is growing up fast. She’s already about 6 or 7 months old, and her nickname “Little Bit" kind of doesn’t suit her anymore! She’s also in the awkward ear stage, which is ridiculously adorable.
3. I’m kind of addicted to mexican food right now. I’ve had it for dinner 2 of the last 3 nights. Maybe it’s because the flavors are so bold, but most likely it’s because of the fact that I have avocados in the house.

4. We finally got back the family pictures we took with Ninja’s family around Christmas time. I think they turned out really well, even though Ninja and I only got 2 pictures together! 
We tried the whole “cutesy” thing with the picture frame, but I think we just look flat out awkward. This so isn’t us! Ninja’s little sis also wanted a picture frame pic with me, which I thought turned out a lot cuter! 
5. My new running shoes came! I have yet to find “my” shoe, so these Saucony kicks are actually the first ones of this brand I’ve tried. I’ve already wore them for a run and they felt pretty good, so maybe these ones will be a winner!
The only thing these babies need now are some pink shoelaces!

Cutesy frame picture – yay or nay?
You’ll have to let us know what you think of the shoes after you wear them for awhile. My favorite running shoes–that I’ve worn for years (I just keep replacing them)–are Brooks Adrenalines. They are awesome for my type of feet and gait.
Cute pictures! I like the frame idea, ya kind of corny but looks amazing in the end. I adore mexican food because it is just so easy to throw together. nothing like refried beans

I used to wear Saucony, but my feet are like needles. So thin. So, my NB minimus ones fit perfectly! Just like a sock lol

Awwr Jax! Is she also at the awkward stage where she’s all legs and tail? I remember my girl going through the age where her legs seemed too long for her body and her body was just this noodle. Goofy things
And I seem to have the same problem with my family and awkward pictures. There are sooo many times where I want to take a picture, but unless it’s completely candid, it usually comes out looking really awkward.
I love that song. Great cover! I think your photos are adorable! Oh and Mexican is acceptable every night of the week. What’s also acceptable is continuing to call your pup little. I named my cat Ty, and have never once used that for his name. His name is literally ..”little.” HAHA I called him little baby when I first got him and never called him anything else.

hahaha I used to hate pictures in the first place, but then things slowly started changing and now I’m all about the cheesy mushy gushy stuff! lol! I’m trying to get Greg to be cheesy too–he’s more like, completely silly it doesn’t make sense type of picture person
