Happy Friday, friends!
I’m back again for another round of Friday favorites this week. Even though the end of the month is quickly approaching and I’ll be posting a Currently post soon, there are just a few things that I needed to give a quick shout out too 🙂
1 Hot Cocoa
The weather is still nearly 100 degrees everyday but for some reason whenever 7pm rolls around I find myself craving hot cocoa. So, being the chocoholic that I am I of course make myself some!
almond milk – cocoa powder – collagen – NuNaturals stevia – mellows
And I just want to prepare you guys – I’ve got some pretty delicious ideas brewing in my head for some hot drinks / lattes, so be on the lookout for those recipes once the weather cools down! I have plans to try a few out this weekend and I’ve got high hopes for them 🙂
2 Egg Grilled Cheese
Where my grilled cheese lovers at?! Allow me to introduce you to my go-to super quick meal.
Udi’s GF bread – dairy-free cheese – 2 eggs
I don’t know what it is about egg sandwiches but I just adore them! I’ve been enjoying this little grilled cheese sandwich as either a breakfast [post-workout] or my lunch, paired with a big green salad. It totally hits the spot!
Except it has me really craving soup weather. One of my all time favorite meals is a grilled cheese with hot soup – I can’t wait until the weather cools down!
3 Superfood Breakfast Cookie Love
My Superfood Breakfast Cookies have been getting a lot of love this week!
I actually have plans on making another batch of these cookies this weekend. I just have to buy more oats first!
4 Being a Coach
My heart has been so filled with joy this week. I am so beyond blessed to be able to do what I do – I can’t believe that just a few months ago I almost didn’t have enough confidence and belief in myself to take this job. Not only am I having so much fun but I am coming to know some incredible people. Being a part of their journey and helping them on their path to better health has been so fulfilling – I truly am so grateful and humbled everyday that I walk into that gym.
One of the members posted this on my Facebook page yesterday and it just made me melt. I love what I do!

5 Food Freedom

“This morning it hit me just how lenient I’ve gotten with my diet – and for once in my life I’m not looking at that as a negative thing. I feel good y’all – so, so good, so why am I going to freak out about carbs, fats or sugars?! This freedom from food has been a long time coming for me – for years I struggled with my eating disorder & obsessed over numbers. It was all about calories, macros & that number on the scale.
And today? Well today I can’t remember the last time I even stepped on a scale. I’ve found my worth in myself – NOT in those numbers.”
