These Flourless Paleo Brownies are dense, chewy and perfectly rich. Made without any flour, these brownies are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free and refined sugar free.
I feel like brownies are one of the most argued about desserts.
Chewy or fudgy?
Crispy edges or soft middle?
Dense or fluffy?
Nuts or chocolate chips?
And so the debate goes. Though I do have my preferences when it comes to brownies, I must admit that I’ve never turned one down for not exactly fitting into my “perfect” brownie category. I mean there’s no such thing as a perfect person, so maybe there shouldn’t be such thing as a perfect brownie, right?
Sorry, is this getting a bit too deep for a recipe post? 😉
Growing up I actually didn’t eat homemade brownies too often. My mom would buy pre-made cookie dough from my soccer team fundraisers, so we would enjoy fresh baked cookies every now and then but Mom was never much of a baker. In fact, I don’t think she ever baked a sheet of brownies – at least not while I was living at home! Hmm…where the heck did my sweet tooth come from then?
Oh that’s right – Daddy.

Anyway, due to my lack of exposure to homemade brownies growing up, I never really developed an “end all be all” when it comes to brownies. I actually like all kinds of brownies – as long as they are rich in chocolate flavor and placed in front of me I’ll pretty much inhale it.
Sad but true. I’m a simple kind of gal, friends.
Though I’m an equal opportunist when it comes to brownies I’ve gotta admit, these Flourless Paleo Brownies are pretty much brownie perfection. Not only are they rich and fudgy but they are also grain-free, gluten-free and dairy-free, yet still 100% delicious!
And I’m not just saying that guys. Even Ninja gave these paleo brownies a try. Yes – my Dr. Pepper loving, Cookie Monster of a husband gave these brownies the thumbs up. That has to count for something, right?!
Though to be fair, his brownie was smothered in ice cream and chocolate sauce but really, is there any better way to eat a brownie? [other than fresh from the hot pan, of course] Oh wait – is that another debate I smell brewing? 😉
